Behind the business: Meet Nanna

Nanna is a passionate yoga teacher and a wellness coach with over 1000 hours of certified training from the Yoga Alliance. Nanna's journey extends beyond traditional yoga practices, encompassing certifications in neuro-biomechanics and functional range conditioning. For the past four years, Nanna has been an integral part of the Hong Kong yoga community, sharing her teachings in both private and corporate settings. Her approach to yoga is a fusion of traditional practices with a modern understanding of neuro-biomechanics, threat management, and in-depth focus on breathwork. During her classes she teaches students how to influence their nervous system, fuel the brain to facilitate movement and feel good!! This unique blend forms the foundation of Intelligent Yogi's innovative curriculum.

  • I joined Nana’s Stress and Anxiety Relief class and found it to be very calming in the moment, but also very useful knowledge to carry with me and put into practice outside of the classroom. I was grateful to Nana for not just saying “breathe in, breathe out” but actually explaining why these breathing techniques work in relation to the types of anxieties and stress we generate. I came into this class wanting to empower myself with a better understanding of how to manage my breathing in preparation for giving birth, but you could see in the class how these techniques spoke to each individual’s needs in so many other ways as well.
